INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE THEME RELIGIONS AND THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

ICYCW participated in the International Conference on the theme “Religions and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Listening to the cry of the earth and of the poor”.

It was organised by the Department for the Integral Human Development Service and by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, which took place in Vatican, at the New Synod Hall, from Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 March 2019.

The conference was reflected on five keywords

  1. People
  2. Planet
  3. Prosperity
  4. Partnership
  5. peace.

It will also be an opportunity to promote a dialogue between experts from different religions international institutions to assess the actual situation with respect to the implementation of the SDGs. Finally, a deeper reading of these objectives will be fostered in the light of the teaching of the different religions present. The conference is organized in collaboration with Confcommercio, Enel Spa, Snam Spa
